I've been diligently saving my avios, and I'm ready to book my reward flight. I'd like to go from JFK to LIM, preferably in business class. The BA website shows basically no availability at all between the end of August and November, but I'd heard that the website wasn't that accurate for partner flights, so I ponied up for the KVS tool and found several dates that would work. Then I called the BAEC line to book the tickets over the phone, and they couldn't find the available dates that the KVS tool showed. So... is the KVS tool just useless? Do I need to say some magic words? Or are my points just useless and I should just book with cash?
