Be advised that after quite a bit of suggestions over the last year (Yes !), Rimowa does in fact now offer a polycarbonate loptop case (with Rillen, or the grooves ) for a 15 inch laptop. This is being introduced through Porsche Rimowa, and I am looking forward to seeing one in person on 29.07.2012. Do you have a link for this? I checked the Porsche German site and didn't see it among the offerings. That sounds like a good solution for me (as I'm also in Germany).
There are in fact ways to couple an LH Slim Rimowa attache to a Rimowa Topas, Salsa, or Salsa Ultra, but they work with some reservation.
Can you provide a link to the "LH Slim Rimowa attache" case? I haven't been able to find that specific model online.
Any thoughts on the 50cm Pilotkoffer and its acceptability for carry-on in Europe (primarily on LH and Swiss)?
Still trying to determine the best configuration for me. Thanks again!
