I'm looking into changing an aeroplan booking. Since it's during a busy time (Christmas) I'm having some problems finding available flights in business. I know things might open up later but I'd like to get this done asap.

I found flights on Egyptair going EWR-CAI-BKK. The layover is long, but it's the best I've found. I know Africa is a different zone, but can I book a connection through CAI as long as it's not a stopover?
