Beach Areas in Thailand
I have been to Phuket and the surrounds [not the 'high end' places though], Hua Hin, Koh Samui, Koh Chang, Rayong, Bang Sen, Chonburi, Koh Samet.

Non-Beach Areas in Thailand
BKK [of course], Chiang Mai, Korat, Udon Thani, Khon Kaen, Surin, Samut Prakarn, Samut Sakhon, Saraburi, Ayutthaya, Suphanburi, Aranyaprathet, etc.

The Philippines is out because my travel partner does not want to travel in the Philippines on this trip.
