we were driving thru Andalucia (Toledo/Granada/Seville/Cordoba before swinging into Portugal) and I opted for AC over Melia to give it a try....... frankly I was disappointed (and if I go back for 8th Andalucia trip will be using Melia's again)................ didn't stay in Malaga this trip but have before (near the little putt-putt golf course by the sea).
Agree, mini-bar for all guests.......

Free minibar was nice but as even that is for all guests I think the welcome gift is the only benefit?
Anyway, AC Palacio in Malaga is excellent hotel otherwise so looking forward to my next stay later this month.
