SPG 50 often yields good rates for this property but overall I think it is mediocre compared to the W or non Starwood options in Kowloon or close to Central. The Meriden is also a much better property IMHO but the location will be unsuitable for many.
I always book a City View Towers Suite and have never been upgraded to a Harbor View.

Agree to do whatever it takes to get into the tower--evening lounge and morning breakfast worth the points or cash!
