Yes IAD-YUL went off without a hitch, but everyone keeps saying you did accept it....of course I accepted, doesnt mean I wanted it, or enjoyed, I really didnt have a choice...Maybe I should receive $37.50 back.
Its kind of like hey we can deliver you to an airport that wastes 3 hours of your time and a $75 cab ride or you can wait overnight in a foreign country (take a day off of work) and we will deliver you to the airport you purchased a day late...Of course I am going to "accept", not happy about it. Not the end of the world, I hold no ill will against United, sxit happens, but I do not feel the need to have paid miles plus $75 penalty fee and cab fare for their sxit happening.
I was just wondering if it was common practice to give back some or all of the penalty fee if they messed up along the way (i am not asking for my miles back, just the penalty fee).
