The seat from cdg to amm is fine for 4 hrs,you wouldn't like it for much longer.
The lie flats on the a330 are good,I didn't slide at all.
The ife is very good.
The food is outstanding,but I'd agree about the flies getting in on the tarmac in amm,they shouldn't let that happen.
As for the amm lounge,it gets very crowded with loads of kids.
Those TVs that you can sit in a mini cubicle to watch...most are broken..probably because as I saw myself,the kids are let loose on them.
If you find one working though,there's a few good channels plus anytime movies for free.
