I tried this about 5 years ago and it was a no go from Hertz, I am guessing since the explosion of the Brekken deposit that the policy may have changed
5 years ago the YQR location was a franchise—with their own silly rules. I just checked, and to my surprise it is now corporate.
Should be no problem.
Also good to hear for me, as I rent at YQR often, and have avoided Hertz out of hand because they were, to my knowledge, a franchise location.
Oh, and good to read that I can bring US plated cars up into Canada. Makes my life at BUF easier
