I arrived around 10 or 11 pm and customer service as the front desk was poor compared to my other Club Carlson stays. The hotel seemed old and dingy even in the lobby and elevator. The hallways were dark. The Sleep Number remote and bed seemed very worn. The bathroom was quite small, awkwardly laid out and the tub looked seriously worn. I think this is going to be the biggest problem for the hotel in the future. Even after the renovations are complete I don't think a lot of people are going to swarm to the property because of the poor layout of the bathroom. I can't remember a hotel that I have had as much difficulty getting in and out of the restroom. The issue could be resolved with either a sliding door or having the doors open outward, which is not ideal but better than the current set-up.
