Grr. A couple of weeks ago there was a complete nutter on the fast track line at T3. It was only a single scanner for fast track, the other one that shares the detector gate was being used for non-fast-track.

There was a bit of an idiot going through the non-fast-track machine. "Oh you want my liquids....." "You want my laptop as well......" "Belt?, ok....".

Anyway, he took his time to go through the gate (sucessfully third attempt).

Gate goon loudly to idiot repacking his stuff: "Because of that, I'm going to hold these people up."

Goon makes us (4 from the fast track lane) wait a real 30 seconds on her watch.
[She knew we were from the other machine, not his, and there was masses of room for more people to repack even on his machine.]
Me (quietly to goon): "We're not actually with him by the way.."

Goon (to me): "That sir is irrelevant, and you should only speak when spoken to in this area".
[Other staff look at floor rather than customers at this point.]

Complaint submitted on complaint form when leaving. Not heard a thing yet.
