Those of you who hate airport shopping will hate this!

LHR T3 Fast Track security has a door to the right (if you are facing it) that takes you outside the duty free maze that swallows you up after security.

Today it was closed, and there was a guy there who was watching the door and telling people that it is closed.

I did not even have the energy to ask why it was closed because it is unlikely to be for any substantial reason as far as I could see - no danger sign or anything.

So off I went into the duty free maze, and this was about the only occasion when I did not plan to buy anything there. Typical.
