Hi,

Does anyone know the best and cheapest way to complete a platinum challenge from STL in the next few months? I know it's not that great of an origin city with respect to fares for MRs, but I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. I can only do weekends (the optimal time would be Labor Day weekend) and I'd prefer to do it in one long flight, but price is more important. I've looked at some STL to Europe fares, and can't find any flights under $1000 (for V class that earns 1 EQP/mi). I also considered STL-ORD-HEL because of the promotion giving 15k bonus miles for ORD-HEL rt, but that requires L class which prices to around $1350. Is this the best I can get? Thanks for any suggestions and advice.
