I've bought the advertised 1st class Businesselite + other fare... FLL > JFK is an A fare and JFK > PDX is the I fare... either way... I'm taking docs with, I have no intention of a late arrival with the exception of arriving at JFK. Any issue that may arrise, weather or mechanical, I will look at as an adventure in travel while retired.

I have a car waiting for me at a hotel, park-fly-stay program, what more fun can I have.

I look forward to a very warm humid Florida in Sept after an already too wet summer in the glorious Pacific Northwest. Shelling on Sanibel Island, snorkeling in Key West, first time visit to anywhere south of Orlando... AND a margarita at the "over advertised" Margaritaville... Key Lime pie... and maybe a travel adventure thrown is at some point.

I love Flyertalk and will continue to seek "deals" here because being retired and traveling is a wonderful thing.
