So, assuming I complete the Platinum challenge successfully in the next few months qualifying me for Plat through 2/14 if I then go on to qualify for Executive Plat in the 2013 calendar year would that status then run through 2/15? Thanks so much for the info.

It is based on the challenge start date, though even if you started the challenge on 1/1/13 your status would only be good through 2/2014. Challenges started before 6/16 in a given year confer status through February of the following year. Challenges started after 6/16 in a given year confer status through February two years later. Theoretically a challenge could grant status for as short a period as 9/1/12-2/28/13 or as long as 6/16/12-2/28/14.
