The $279 quoted (and paid for? in full?) is for the week not per night?

Perhaps you should place a phone call to Couples and ask them if they have your reservation and if so for them to send it to you.

Then you can compare between the two and this would give you a better understanding of what you have purchased and what Couples will honor.
