Other things that r bad: no proper duvets, the amenity kit is a joke, the lounge at CDG is worst than those travellers lounge in CX.

Really comapring AF to CX is like comparing pierre garnier to Mcdonalds.
I fully agree with all the points you make (bread, snack, no asian food, lounge, duvet, amenity kit, etc, etc..). But I was more lucky with my main dish (just OK, maybe below CX main dish) and my tiny cheese platter was made of a perfectly-ripe Camembert (others might have been less lucky with ripeness) and some slice of comté (or similar) that was OK. Indeed CX serves a full cheese platter with raisin and dried fruits and fresh fruits (AF serves cheese with the main and do not provide fresh fruit at cheese time), so they win for cheese. CX desserts are usually "big" and more tasty than the microscopic AF assortment.
One point I would add is that CX serves cappucino/expresso for breakfast while AF did not (that was an old 77W).
AF wines were slightly better than the wines served by CX following the recent downgrade and that is important to me. CX serves XO cognac while AF only serves VSOP.
My expectations were low because of all the negative reviews on the HKG-CDG route, so I was positively surprised by the food/wine. I would agree with you that the overall soft product is far better on CX, but the real killer on AF is the seat, whatever version you get.
