My husband, son (age 6) and I will be heading to London in November. Husband has some work to do while son and I sightsee. His firm gives a list of hotels from which to choose (corporate rate) and I've narrowed it down to these 6. If you could help me narrow the list further, that would be great.

1. Le Meridien. Great location, plus health club and pool.
2. Langham. Gym, pool, free wifi in business center.
3. Metropolitan. Offers a "Met Pod" so we can get there early and sleep before checkin. Looks like a smallllll gym.
4. Grosvenor House. Gym but no pool.
5. St. Martin's Lane. Gym, no pool.
6. The Athenaeum. Maybe a kitchen? No gym or pool.

As we have the six-year-old, anything with a pool moves to the top of the list. Fitness centers are a plus too. Our flight is overnight from JFK, arriving Heathrow around 9:00 a.m., so if there's a hotel that might offer early checkin, that would be a plus as well.
