You didn't miss much - to be honest the SAS/Air Canada lounge is much more attractive. Sometimes the food in the SQ lounge is slightly better.
The Singapore Airlines lounge has hot food, the London lounge (Scandinavian Airlines/Air Canada) primarily a salad bar. If I feel hungry I use the former.
