Yes I see that now, but I prefer wide body planes on long flights. And I'm not even sure AA has a two class plane JFK-LAX? It seems they are all 767's. However I guess if I did a route like JFK-ORD-LAX I would have earned even more.

I should say since I live in Europe I really have never cared much about TP's since it has always been so easy to qualify for Gold. But I supposed next year (or is it the year after?) I will have to put a bit more thought into it if I wish to remain Gold.
