If this is the case then to what degree is it applicable i.e. I usually travel BA with work but all work travel has to be book centrally so I can't use my Amex. I presume I would not be covered but grateful for your advice.
You are only covered for baggage, travel delay and cancellation if the supplier does not accept Amex as a form of payment, so in your circumstance I would imagine that you wouldn't be covered.
