Do you know what is really disappointing? Riding on a new 738 in which the WiFi is not yet installed. This was the case on N8308K this evening going FLL-MDW as Flight #575. Crew mentioned that WiFi had not yet been installed on this aircraft since it is so new. According to Airfleets.net, it looks like this aircraft was delivered to WN on 5/15/12. I really don't understand why you would put this aircraft into service without getting the WiFi install completed first?!? Only to take it out of service months down the road to do the install?!? Makes no sense in my mind. Even more of a tease since the website and check-in process promoted "WiFi on Board" for the flight. I guess this did save me the frustration of the typically painfully slow connections on most WiFi flights!
