I decided to forgo the GUF2 this year and try VS LHR/JFK for the first time ever on Saturday ... more of which possibly later. After the doors were closed they did a general PA to announce the souls on board figures, which I thought somewhat unusual and had it been done after take off, slightly alarming! Maybe it's normal VS procedure.
