Yes, happened to me when I flew CNX BKK SIN.
They will put a sticker on your shirt where it says 'CIP'. (I have no idea what it means.)
One landed in BKK, you will be called upon exiting the aircraft to join the the other CIP and will go right after that to the international zone. Your best bet is to call THAI.
