Never ever had a problem abroad - maybe it's the way i talk/look at people they decide it's probably best not to get involved.

Positive... Go to DXB. Only place in the WORLD I've been able to leave my phone/wallet on a table beside my lounger and be able to go swim/eat and come back and everything was still there. And I was away for hours.
