This isn't that hard to understand. I'd happily plunk down another $100 for another trip, but there's no time left.
Why would what they do influence your behavior? If you intended to follow the rules of the promo, you could have booked all of your $100 trips accordingly.

I'm not taking either side. Why does everything have to be "us vs them?" It's divisive and unnecessary.
I think it sucks that they clawed back miles, but people weren't booking trips based upon the rules of the promotion as stated, I don't have much sympathy for those people.
