Have you gone back and read my posts? Apparently not.
I'm not asking for an exception to the rules. I'm merely saying that if CO shows that they are giving an exception to the rules (by posting the initial bonus amounts showing the 1x trip complete), then that alone influences our behavior.
This isn't that hard to understand. I'd happily plunk down another $100 for another trip, but there's no time left.
I manage travel for multiple people in our family (who were targeted with different variants of the promo.) What's to say I even know when a trip was booked? And what if SHARES didn't ticket it until 3 weeks later? Which date counts?
The point is that CO gave us feedback. They posted a bonus after a the first flight, indicating that we need 3 more to complete the 1/2/4 promotion. So we booked 3 more. Are you really going to take CO's side in this?
