Exactly right. Watch for some explanation in next weeks release saying something to the effect, "numbers impaired on the xxxx Expense Line due to malfunction of system and inaccurate posting of Award miles".
If they are scratching at these kinds of things to "shadow" the numbers or make them look better, we'll all be on AA soon.
Let's just face it. This is bush league no matter the reason. This is a one-way street, us wanting to go one way, them wanting to go the other. It's not going to change. There is not a single drop of customer service/appreciation/goodwill in the blood that flows through their system.
I'm embarrassed for them. Whew! This continues to be a great biz school case study when the time comes. Not too far off now.
