Any chance of Golds getting a room with a lounge access (and breakfast) in your past experience? I have stayed with all of the Hyatt properties in HK. I did not like HRTST but need to stay in Kowloon so I am using up 48,000 SPG points for the stay. This will be my first stay with a Starwood property.
One of options earlier discussed was booking a regular room at $$$ and using 1500 points per night for Towers Club upgrade, which includes special lounge - non available for plats and breakfast. I highly encourage you to double check if this option is still available directly with the hotel.
