As part of a business class award trip from Australia to the US I need to book flights from LAX to NYC and NYC to SFO. On the dates I need there is a choice of either Business Class to and from JFK (I assume PS service from the seat maps) or First Class to and from EWR (which I understand can be booked as part of an international business award). I would like advice as to which is the best choice including airport convenience. I have been through JFK before but not EWR and would be planning to travel into and out of New York by train.
Both JFK and EWR are convenient to midtown Manhattan (Penn Station) via train. No compelling difference there.
The UA P.S. flights in J ex. JFK are a much better experience than the domestic F product out of EWR. If you decide to transit Newark you should look for the PMCO 752 BF metal with 20 lie flat seats.
JFK is a smaller station for UA and can be less of an overall hassle to transit.
