Having read the thoughts on what people consider the most annoying announcements when flying BA how about sharing some of the wit and humour from BA's flight deck and cabin crew.

I was on a flight from FRA recently when the Captain refered to the purser (or whatever the chief chuf on board s/h are called) as being the one with the steely eyes and a chiselled jaw.

He then stated that it felt like 3 days since he and the co-pilot started their shift, before the first domino fell over at Heathrow and chaos began.

And finished the flight stating that arriving on stand with the previous plane in it was the "cherry on the bakewell", and then explaining what that meant for those unfamiliar with a Bakewell Tart.

Anyone else heard any good ones from the worlds wittiest airline.
