Different issues. Yours was duplicate accounts - one your existing account, one a new account opened on your behalf - most likely you haven't filled in your existing account number at application. Occasionally the system dropped the info. Happens. Both the existing and the new account belong to the SAME person.
The poster wants to change the AA account number to one that is NOT his. A complete different issue.
