I've made that flight quite often over the years and always take the train from York to Manchester Airport which arrives at 8:12am. A mad dash to Terminal 2 and I'm usually at checkin by 8:20 to 8:25, Never missed a flight yet but I'm usually the last passenger and the agents often mildly, but politely, admonish me
