I'm on paid J LHR-LAX in J coming home from a lengthy European trip next month (Aug 26 to be exact). When I booked I saw 777 so I thought "Great, PMCO BusinessFirst 2x2x2" --- my only experience ever with UA/CO J. Until of course, I saw that it included F. That means, not PMCO BF but possible J roulette on refurbed or not (so I've read).

Question is -- does anyone have any experience or general thoughts on whether this is a new J cabin or will I be stuck with the old recliners? I know it's probably roulette but with such a high profile route like LHR-LAX I suspect it should be quite high on the list to use the 2 x 4 x 2 (ouch) new config with lie-flat hardware.

What's everyone's thoughts/experiences with this route? Recliners or lie-flat 777?
