Unfortunately, this wouldn't do much for me. Chase pulls EQ for me -- the only bank that pulls EQ on me, and Amex and Citi both pull EX. I have EX frozen and both Citi and Amex will not process my applications without my EX PIN (or me un-freezing it). The flatly refuse to pull another bureau.

Amex doesn't say anything and just lets the application expire. No credit pull and no attempt to get the application processed on their end. At least in my experience.

Citi sends a letter via email saying in order to process the application you need to unfreeze the following bureau or give us your PIN, then they say "EXPERIAN (phone) (address) etc" I called and asked them to pull EQ or TU and they said no they can't do that. HUCA and same answer.

So for me, and perhaps for others out there who were thinking of trying this, there's really no point. The only thing I could do is bump inquiries off TU (which has 1 inquiry several months ago for US Airways card) and EQ (which only Chase pulls, and they know damn well how many cards of theirs I have). I'm not worried about getting approved for Chase cards at this point. I have 2 $10k+ personal cards with them (and a 1.5k CL on my Freedom) that I could use to get 2 more cards approved with 5k each--meaning all 4 cards at 5k. I also have an Ink Bold that I use as my actual business card with a 12.5k limit, but I need most of that line. All of that said, I don't really want more than 4 Chase cards at one time for fear of AA--I'd consider 5 if a truly great offer came out, but Chase's recon dept is not particularly difficult to negotiate with.

So would be cool to get the scores up and inquiries off--and I will look into it if I see a home purchase on the horizon--but for churning purposes, it doesn't do much for me.
