Call a DL agent and change your seats. You will still have to pay for EC unless you're PM+ but I wouldn't wait until T-24 to select EC. At T-24, I doubt you'll get 3 seats at that point and certainly not 3 together.
Also, if you're all 3 not on same PNR then you won't get the FO/GM discount your two companions.
