Based on your other thread it sounds like your wife does not want to be seated apart from you or vice versa?

If everything fails, make sure you get a decent seat in CE by pre-assigning the seat or at OLCI, make sure that your wife is not seated in a very good row (not exit row etc - because the passenger may be reluctant to swap even for a CE seat - you never know) if possible, and ask the passenger seated next to your wife is he/she would be prepared to swap with you for your CE seat.
