I had the opposite on my recent trip- on the outbound I had a home printed BP and just got a 'welcome on board' and told where my seat was, but on the return I had a normal airport BP (I had printed a home BP, but at BLR, they took this off me and gave me an airport one, not sure why as it looked as if it would scan ok...) and when I boarded that flight I was welcomed on board with 'it's great to have you on board again Mr.XXX)
