Yes, that I am aware off. However the agent was totally confused as to what to do because the agent thought that the latest the r&f ticket would be valid for would be the time of departure

(not the day of departure) and the agent was going on about how he/she never had such an early flight to book a r&f ticket for. So I suggested to book for X-1 just to make things easier, and then that's when the total confusion set in.

According to the Lufthansa reservations I am booked in economy for r&f. And then I spoke to an agent this morning about the problem and after being on hold for about 20 minutes I was told that they acknowledge that I was overcharged, but they don't know what the solution is and that a supervisor would call me back to discuss solutions with me

. I mean how difficult is it to issue me a refund for the price difference????
