In the late 80's I was at a meeting/retreat at La Costa and there was a guest speaker. Pretty well known economist. Middle of the night, he got up to go to the bathroom, opened the door, stepped through and closed the door. Only it was the door to the hall and he liked to sleep naked. Interesting trip to the lobby to get help. Good thing it was pretty late.

Always put the chain over the door - not to keep people out but to make sure a groggy you stays in.
