On new kit selections, upgrades tend to post within the day. So once you have your email confirmation of your selections, they should be in your account. Go to the AC site and you should find the area where they are stored.
I always found the eUpgrades difficult to find (or round-about to find), so in case OP has trouble finding them.
Sign in to Air Canada using your Aeroplan number
Select Miles & Privilages
Select Upgrades on the left hand side
Select Air Canada eUpgrades
Select Access your eUpgrade account in the middle of the body of the text
Select the eUpgrade history tab
If there is an easier way to do this than the 5-step process (after sign in), I am all ears, but I have had to explain this to a lot of people (well a few people a lot of times).
