Some airlines allow apparently allow you to give them two FF#'s - one for the purposes of elite benefits and one for the purposes of mileage earning.

I've never done it and wasn't even aware it was possible until reading about it in an FT thread.

But outside of rare circumstances, the earning is only in one account.
