Interesting that they're using the 763 to DEL, despite it being nearly a nine-hour flight. One would hope they change this to a long-haul configuration 787 to compete with JL's own 787 introduction. I'm a bit surprised they're not announcing any changes to BOM -- keeping the BBJ on while using a 763 for a new route seems a bit unfair, but I guess yields are steady with the 737.
Also, NRT-RGN will be C-only for now, it seems -- and only 3x weekly. As we
discussed earlier it seems they can operate the route without the winter fuel stop in FUK. I look forward to giving it a try sometime, even with those seats!
JL will switch back to 777 from Dec so I guess they think 763 is good enough to compete with the previous generation product
