You can still stay in the LAX area, catch the Ocean Express Trolley down to Manhattan Beach and enjoy a sunset dinner. Lots of good places to eat down there, but I would make a reservation since it's Thanks Giving.

Last return from Manhattan is at 9pm, or take a Taxi back.

$5 return trip per person.
