I was at London Victoria killing time before a train earlier today, and picked up the latest issue (August) of Airliner World. Not a mag I buy very often - probably haven't for a year - but it's got a feature on the 'end of BMI' which I thought might be interesting.
Anyway, the pièce de résistance, is the free Boeing 747-800 poster, which features the best BA bird in the (current) fleet as one of the main images. This is the plane I think most of us secretly wish was fitted with a full complement of passenger seats rather than being stuffed to the rafters with a load of pallets and boxes...
Anyway, well worth picking up a copy of the mag, if this is your thing.
As an aside, the poster shows all the big fleets which have ordered the Boeing 'Super Jumbo'... And Boeing Business Jets is listed as having 9 orders, and a further 15 undisclosed customers. I wonder who these are for - could Air Force One be due an upgrade? Or are some very rich Arabs in need of a new set of wings?
