On my recent flights to/from BLR, the window blinds were all shut in CW when I boarded both of the aircraft, and not everyone opened them- actually, on the return flight, most people had them shut for the duration, even take off and landing. I feel a bit bad opening mine if everyone elses are shut, and the CSD kindly asked me to shut mine just after take off... even though I only had one open, and it was only about half open... confused me a bit!
