When I take a break at work I invariably go to one of the coffee shops at the airport, ie. Costa, Caffe Nero, etc.

Does this mean that I shouldn't sit there with the general public?

Quite often people will ask for assistance and it's no problem to help even though I'm on a break. I suspect the lounge staff are the same.
