Have you ever flown BA first class? It's about moving you from A to B, not moving mountains.
Unless you are a Premier card holder (and there are very few of them) who has put a call in and caught the attention of one of the special services team, BA's service begins when you arrive at the airport and very much ends in the baggage hall.
