When I was applying over the phone, the options given to me were, 0 to 25,000, 25,000 to 50,000 and higher. I chose 0 to 25,000.
Then when the application was being verified, he asked me for a more concrete figure, and I said "around" $22k. So I guess that's what he put down.
My 1040 shows an annual income of $13k (rounded off)

A little OT but... That was the Sapphire card. I wanted to use the Amex..but never got around to using it mostly because I've exhausted the sending and receiving limit on my friend's account and mine.
