I will be traveling to Frankfurt in March and was curious if the ticket machines at the airport as well as at the local stations around Frankfurt take credit cards as a form of payment. And, if they do, do they need to be the chip style cards?

I cannot seem to find a definitive answer to this. Thank you for the help.
